On the 120 from Burien to Downtown, I had the privilege of sitting next to this lady:
In case you can't tell, she's busy flossing. Like, mint green string, dentist recommended flossing. And she wasn't just trying to get a small piece maybe stuck between her teeth. She did her whole mouth. Her saliva was pooling and dripping everywhere and she calmly used the napkin beside her to dab the wet spots it left on the seat.
As a patron of public transportation--especially of the 120--I get to see all walks of life riding the bus. Business suits, homeless drunkards, heroine addicts, prostitutes, hipsters, college kids, little kids, etc. Knowing that, I can't imagine why someone would want to touch the bus anymore than they have to, particularly their mouths. I feel like this lady put more crap in than flossing it out.
