When I first moved to Seattle, I walked around a lot trying to explore the neighborhood. On my way to the library one day, I noticed all the trees had turned colors. It was gorgeous and I wished I had more than my camera phone to take a picture:
The pinks, reds, oranges were so brilliant and it was a nice, sunny day that I couldn't help but notice.
When I worked on Thanksgiving, the city had just put lights up in Westlake Park:
In these moments, Seattle is awesome. But just in that moment. As a native Californian, the weather here makes me a pansy as I carry a space heater with me from room to room.
